NEW HAVEN, CONN., January 16 -- In a fast basketball game last evening at New Haven Yale defeated Brown by the score of 47 to 30. Yale ran up its lead in the final period of the game.

Suisman and Pite were the outstanding players of the Yale quintet, while Williams starred for Brown.
