The Freshman hockey team will face its strongest opponent this season when it plays the Milton Academy team this afternoon at 3 o'clock at Milton. The schoolboys, after a bad start, have shown a remarkable improvement, and on Monday defeated Browne and Nichols 6 to 0. The Freshman sextet, which over-came Browne and Nichols by a 6-1 score, is an undefeated team.
A slight change in the line-up has been made since the Andover game last Saturday. C. J. Henderson, who has played a very steady game, marked by excellent stick-work all season, has replaced Lincoln Davis Jr. at right wing. During the practice sessions this week, Coach Angler has laid great stress on checking-back.
Milton, besides the game with Browne and Nichols, has played four other games, winning one and losing three. The first three games were lost to Huntington, Noble and Greenough, and St. Mark's. Since then the team has shown a great improvement in team-work and defeated Country Day School 4-2 last week and Browne and Nichols on Monday. The schoolboys have very few veterans in the line-up, Captain Saltonstall and Ladd being the only men from last year's team.
