To the Editor of the CRIMSON:
We have a letter signed by Mr. Delcevare King dated October 9th. In which he as a member of the Bar Association objects strongly to the singing of "Johnny Harvard" during Prohibition times He enclosed a copy of a letter to this effect, which he wrote to you.
This song was sung by the "University Double Quartet" at the Harvard-Oxford debate Monday night, and Mr. King, under a misapprehension that this group is a part of the Glee Club, has written us. I have answered Mr. King's note, assuring him that the Glee Club has no connection with this double quartet and that the letter is not in reality even a Harvard organization.
I thought you might like to get our side of the question before you do anything about Mr. King's letter. DALLAS BLAIR SMITH '24 Manager.
