DARTMOUTH AND HARVARD BROKE EVEN YESTERDAY

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Dartmouth and Harvard broke even yesterday in their minor sport encounters, the Green soccer team losing 2-1 while the Hanover harriers ran away from their Harvard and Maine rivals.

In the former contest the Dartmouth players were no match for their faster and more experienced Crimson opponents who kept the ball in Dartmouth territory three-quarters of the time. Only inaccurate shots at the goal prevented the score from being larger.

In the cross-country meet Dartmouth failed to take one of the first three places but won 33 to 36 from Maine with the University trailing with 66 points. The Hanover team had eight men who placed.
