"Eclipses of the Sun and Moon" is the subject which Professor H. T. Sterson will discuss at the College Observatory this evening at 7.30 o'clock. This is the first of a series of seven open nights which the observatory will hold at approximately two week intervals, extending to January 31, and at which some phase of astronomy will be discussed by a member of the University faculty or a visitor. Before each talk opportunity will be given the visitors to use the telescope whenever the weather permits.
Tickets for this evening, which are free, may be had by calling University 0390 between 9 and 11 o'clock this morning.
