Velde Appointed Soccer Manager

James Albertsen Velde '26 of Pekin, Illinois, was yesterday appointed second assistant soccer manager after a seven week competition. Velde prepared at Exeter Academy and was manager of the last year's Freshman team.

The Freshman managership was won by Edmund Webster Mudge Jr. '27 of Pittsburgh, Pa., and the assistant managership of the Freshman team by George Morgan Browne '27, of New York City.

All of these appointments are subject to the approval of the Athletic Committee.
