College Office Will Not Excuse Absences From Last Classes Today or First Classes on Friday

The College Office has announced that tomorrow will be a holiday in all departments of the University, and that all students must attend their last classes today and their first classes on Friday in accordance with the rule which provides that "Failure to attend classes immediately before and after holidays and vacations will not be excused, and unexcused absences at such times are subjects for disciplinary action by the Administrative Board".

The Department of Physical Education has announced that the Squash Courts Building, the Big Tree Swimming Pool, and the Freshman Athletic Building will be open from 2 to 6 o'clock tomorrow. Hemenway gymnasium will he open all day except the main floor, which will be closed on account of preparations for the "Fete Charrette" to be given tomorrow night by the University School of Architecture and the Department of Architecture of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
