The University basketball team will clash with the St. Francis quintet of St. Francis College, Brooklyn, N. Y., in its last contest before the concluding game of the season with Yale on Tuesday. The game, which had been scheduled for 8.15 o'clock tonight, will be played at 5 o'clock this afternoon instead, because of the fact that arrangements have already been made for the use of the gymnasium in the evening.

The St. Francis team has had 22 victories to its credit, having defeated the champions of Canada, McGill University, and is the recognized Catholic title holder of the East. In view of this record, the game this afternoon should prove to be both fast and close.

An innovation will be tried tonight in that McLeish will start in the forward line instead of at his usual position of guard. The combination of Gordon at center and McLeish and Lowenthal as forwards was tried in the practice game with the Freshmen two days ago with success, and it is possible that during the game today this same combination will be tried. If it works well against St. Francis it will probably be used in the Yale game.
