NOTED PHYSICIST TO SPEAK

Prof. Sommerfeld Will Lecture Today in Jefferson Laboratory

One of the leading theoretical physicists of Europe. Professor Arnold Sommerfeld, of the University of Munich, Germany, will deliver the first of his series of three lectures in the large lecture room of Jefferson Physical Laboratory at 4.30 o'clock this afternoon.

The subject of his lecture today will be "Atomic Models" in which he will deal with the subject mainly from a technical and mathematical standpoint.

Professor Sommerfeld, best known as an author of books on atomic spectra, has been lecturing for the last six months at the University of Wisconsin. Recently he made a lecture four of the Pacific Coast and comes from there to the University at the invitation of the Depart
