1926 NINE WILL FACE CUSHING ACADEMY TEAM

VISITORS HAVE INEXPERIENCED BUT STRONG SQUAD

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The seventh game on the Freshman baseball schedule will be played with Cushing Academy this afternoon at 3 o'clock on the Freshman diamond. Although, the visitors have played only two games so far this season, they have proved themselves an unusually strong combination. In their first game with Lawrence Academy, they won 18 to 2, and in their second on last Saturday they defeated Athol High 5 to 0.

Although two of their men will probably be unable to play today, the Freshmen are expected to have the upper hand. Captain J. J. Maher will be barred from participation because of an injured finger. Howes Burton, who has been playing center field regularly, may also be kept out with a charley-horse. In this case, H. I. Pratt will be moved to left field, and C. L. Todd to center.

Although the Crimson lost the game with Choate last Saturday, it will be strengthened by having R. W. Puffer on the mound, who pitched a winning game against Loomis Institute a week ago, allowing his opponents only six hits.
