Cornell completely outclassed the University lacrosse players yesterday afternoon on Soldiers Field and won the game in a misting rain 15-2. The Cornell players, who were scored upon but twice during the whole match, were far superior in carrying and passing the ball.
During the first half H. C. Martin and L. B. Young '23 scored twice for the Crimson, but Cornell scored six times during the same period. In the second half, Cornell was not broken through once by the home players, while her own attack men threw the ball past the University guard nine times. Brigden and Cassidy of Cornell formed an excellent attack combination, the former scoring five times and the latter three.
