Farrell Deplores Lack of Candidates for Freshmen Squad

University and Freshman cross-country squads went through a light workout, jogging around the field yesterday afternoon, with several additional candidates present. The Freshman squad, however, is still incomplete, and Coach Farrell declared it to be the smallest Freshman squad to report in late years. He added that there ought to be an abundance of good cross-country material in this year's record entering class, but that unless more Freshman candidates appeared, the 1927 squad will stand little chance of approaching the high standard set by last years, Freshman team.
