POLICE ADOPT SPECIAL RULES TO HANDLE TRAFFIC JAM

Will Have One-Way Bridges for Cars to and From Boston

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Utmost precautions will be used by the Cambridge, Boston, and Metropolitan Police, in handling the large crowds of people and automobiles which will throng towards Soldiers Field this afternoon.

Cotxage Farm Bridge will be open only to traffic going toward Boston, and the temporary wooden bridge open only to Cambridge traffic during rush hours before and after the game. Boylston Street and North Harvard Street will be altogether closed to traffic after 1 o'clock, while Memorial Drive will be closed between Western Avenue and River Street.

For those who wish to park on the Metropolitan Parkway in Brighton, entrance will be provided at the gate opposite Newell Boat House and at the southwest corner of the field.

Car owners are warned by the police against leaving their cars in charge of any boys who may offer to look after them, since many thefts have occurred in this way.
