NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Coach Farrell enters ten runners in the cross-country meet with Middlebury College tomorrow afternoon. He termed the prospects for a successful opener to the fall season of the University harriers as fair.

Last night he named 14 men, of whom he will select ten this afternoon to race the Vermonters. These men are: Captain' W. L. Chapin Jr. '25, B. R. Cutcheon '26, B. E. Swede '27, LeB. R. Parker '26, R. M. Parker '26, W. C. Harrison Jr. '25, Edward Gordon '27, C. A. Harper '26 H. R. Kobes '26, Peppino Portfillio '26, L. W. Grossman '26, H. L. Smyth '27, and R. W. Lishman '26. Thus far this year, Coach Farrell has conducted no time trials over the whole of the Charles River course, which will be used tomorrow, but time trials over the Freshman distance held last Monday were encouraging.

Coach Brown of Middlebury brings south seven men, two of whom are veterans. The Vermonters were unfortunate two weeks ago, when their captain, Fish, withdrew from college. The seven men entered tomorrow are Kelley, Robinson, Carlson, Gollvrick, Hamplin, Stought, and Brookins.

Coach Farrell is giving the University harriers a rest this afternoon in preparation for tomorrow's race, but he has called all Freshmen to report at 4 o'clock.
