This establishes a new record for speed in preparing the paper for press. As one of the compositors remarked, "If it hadn't been for the Princeton guy who scored in the last minute of play, we'd have got it off just one second after the game ended!"

Within ten minutes after the crowds had heard the final whistle proclaim that the game was over, the 800 copies of the extra were on sale to the thousands of spectators returning over the Anderson Bridge.
