BUMP NAMED 1928 FOOTBALL MANAGER; MERWIN SECOND

The eight weeks competition for the Freshman football managership closed last night when W. N. Bump of New Rochelle, N. Y., was announced as the 1928 manager. He prepared for the University at Hotchkiss. Loring Merwin of Concord, who prepared at Choate, won the first assistant managership. Both Bump and Merwin automatically win their football numerals.

John Preston of Mt. Kisco, N. Y., a Loomis graduate, won the second assistant managership. The three dormitory managers were chosen as follows: Smith Halls, William Magic of Chicago; Standish Hall, J. P. Chase of Milton; Gore Hall, W. C. Cox of Hyde Park. Magie and Chase prepared at Exter and Cox at Milton.

These appointments are subject to the approval of the Student Council
