The final cut of the debating squad last night leaves eight men from whom the speakers on December 6 will be chosen. the present line-up of the two teams is as follows; Affirmative; D. W. Chapman '27, E. M. Littell '26, R. A. Barton '25, W. S. Stone '26. Negative: E. G. Wesson '26, Barrett Williams '28, E. J. Metzdorf '26, A. F. Reel '28.
The men are given in the order they speak at present. Later two men will become alternates, and the other six will be the ones to meet Brown and Amherst.
Methods of financing the Intercollegiate League Debates were discussed at the meeting of the Debating Council in Weld 43' last night. While there is enough on hand to finance the present season, a committee was appointed to suggest measures to insure future financial success.
