Tights will be discarded this year by the University Hockey team in favor of stockings, according to an announcement from the management yesterday.
Coach Bigelow declared that he disliked the red-flannel limb-protectors as they were just what their name implies, "tight." He believes that the use of stockings in their place will give the men on the team greater freedom of motion and possibly a little more speed, in addition to the increased comfort.
