TEACHERS' ASSOCIATION WILL MEET NEXT MONTH

"The Health of Youth" will be the topic of discussion at the thirty-third annual meeting of the Harvard Teachers' Association to be held on Saturday, April 26. The morning session will be held in Sanders and following this there will be a luncheon in the Union at 1 o'clock, the speakers being introduced by Professor G. E. Johnson, Associate Professor of Education in the University.

Dr. Clark W. Hetherington, of New York University, will open the morning program in Sanders Theatre at 9.45 with a talk on "Program in Sanders Theatre at 9.45 with a talk on "Physical Education and General Education." Dr. Charles H. Keene of the Pennsylvania State Educational Department will then speak on "A State Program in School Health." Following this Mr. Thomas C. Ferguson, Director of Physical Education at New Bedford will speak on "Problems in Physical Training in City Schools," Mr. Norman W. Fradd, of the department of Physical Education in the University, will conclude the morning program with a talk on "Posture Body Mechanics, and Health."

Following the luncheon at the Union, Dr. Roger Irving Lee '02, formerly Professor of Hygiene in the University, will open the afternoon, program with a talk on "What can be done for Health through the Teaching of Hyginene." President Asia L. Comsrock, of Radeliffe College, will speak next on "Healta and College Life." Mr. William J. Bingham '16, former University track coach, will close the program with a talk on "Athletics in Schools and Colleges."

The morning session will be open to all members of the University, but the luncheon only to those who are invited. The Harvard Teachers' Association was founded in 1891 by Professor Paul H. Hanus. It includes teachers graduates, and former students of any department of the University, or of Radeilffe, who are interested in the study of education.

Oscar' C. Gallagher '98, Superintendent of Schools in Brookline, is president of the Association, and Professor Bancroft Beatley '15, of the Graduate School of Education is Secretary-Treasurer.
