The finals of the Law School squash championship resulted in victory for Lawrence Foster 3L., over Channing Wakefield 3L, yesterday. This match proved to be one of the closest of the whole season, the champion winning only through his remarkable ability to cover the court; the score was 15-10, 15-12, 12-15, 15-11.
Another very close match was played in the Business School finals when J. C. Hancroft 2G.B, defeated E. B. Gordon 1G.B., 15-9, 18-15, 14-18, 16-14.
In both matches at the end of the third game it looked as if the loser were the stronger, but they met such strong opposition in the fourth game, that they were forced to relinquish their temporary advantage.
Tomorrow in the Freshman gymna stum at 8 o'clock the 1927 squash championship will be contested for by R.N. Rawlins '27 and R. B. Merriman Jr. 27'. Rawlins, who has played number 1 on the team all season and who recently won the Class B State championship is favored to win.
