The Annual Dinner of the Phillips Brooks House Association will be held at 7 o'clock today in the Phillips Brooks House. After the dinner the reports covering this year's work will be read by the retiring members of the Cabinet, and B. F. Rice-Bassett '25, the newly elected President of the Association, will speak briefly.
The guest of the Association will be Bishop Lawrence '71, who will give a short address. He has been Bishop of Massachusetts for over 30 years, before which he was rector of Grace Church, Lawrence. Among the degrees he has received are an L.L.D. from Princeton, Cambridge, and Lawrence Universities, and D.D. from Durham, Yale, and Columbia. His recent book, "Fifty Years," has been one of the most influencial factors in the Fundamentalist-Modernist controversy.
W. J. Bingham '16, a former president of the Phillips Brooks House Association, will be introduced by B. McK. Henry '24, retiring president, and will act as toastmaster.
All the officers and other members of the Cabinet and those who have had some connection with the work this year have been invited to attend the dinner.
