The events of the Invitation Regatta, scheduled for yesterday, were postponed until today and today's until tomorrow with the result that the Carroll Cup race, Limited by the preliminary heats of last Thursday to two entries, J.O. Bangs '25 and J.A. Crooks '25, will not be rowed until tomorrow.
Crooks will make a strong did for the Carroll Cup. Saturday, he was distanced only by R.S. Codman '19 of the Union Boat Club in the senior singles event. The latter won over a three quarter mile course instead off the customary mile and one-quarter distance on account of rough water. Crooks however, defeated two strong contenders, namely Le Court of the New Rochelle Boat Club New; York, and Meegan of the Nautilus Boat Club, Brooklyn.
The only events scheduled for today are the preliminary heats of the novice and the junior singles and the wherry and compromise races.
