ADVISERS GATHER TO PLAN FOR NEXT YEAR

At 7 o'clock tonight in the Faculty Room of the University Hall almost 250 men who will act as student advisors next year, will gather to hear what the Student Advisory Committee has done in the past and what its plans for next year are, About 125 of these men will be Seniors next year, and about 90, and 35 of them are members of 1926 and 1927, respectively.

There will be three speakers at the meeting tonight. Mr. W. L. W. Field '98, Headmaster of Milton Academy, will discuss the first year in college from the point of view of the secondary school teacher, and tell what he thinks should be the service of upperclass advisors. Dean Greenough and J. D. Du Bois '24, chairman of the committee during the past year, will be the other speakers. They will take for their general subject, the results which have been obtained by student advisory work in the past, and the extension of the system which will be undertaken next year.

In addition to this first purpose of acquainting the newly appointed advisors with the work which they will be doing in the fall, the meeting has a second aim. This will be discussion by the men present of special features of the work which might be improved, and consideration of suggestions as to new methods.
