BIOLOGY 1 TABOO FOR ALL FRESHMEN BY DEAN'S DECREE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Freshmen will not be admitted this year to Biology 1, it was announced at the Dean's Office yesterday. This course, offered last year for the first time, attracted over 350 upper classmen, and since the lack of facilities forces the limitation of the enrollment to 300, Prof G. H. Parker '87 has decided that Freshmen must be barred. In all probability admission to the course will also be denied to upperclassmen below Group V in the rank list.

Biology 1 was offered in response to a demand for a composite science course for students intending to take only one year science.
