On Tuesday evening from 7.30 to 8.30 o'clock, a meeting will be held at Phillips Brooks House to discuss plans for Social Service work during this year. All men contemplating taking up this work are invited to attend.
N. S. Howe '26, Chairman of the Social Service Committee, will preside and introduce the speakers, among whom will be Mr. James Jackson, State Treasurer of Massachusetts, Professor F. W. Taussing '79. George Owen '23, former hockey and baseball captain and star halfback, J. C. McGlone '26, and Mr. M. H. Harris '24.
Social Service work as carried on under Phillips Brooks House is of an all-embracing nature. It includes the supervising of boy's clubs at the various settlement houses in Boston, the giving of entertainments and teaching English to foreigners.
