These fellowships are established to commemorate the work of the Commission for Relief in Belgium during the World War. Each is worth 15,000 francs besides tuition at the Belgian schools and first class traveling expenses to and from the institution chosen. The fellowships are open to both men and women and are to be held for one year. All American fellows will be required to report in Brussels on October 1 and to stay in Belgium at least eight months.
