TWO HARVARD GRADUATES START PUBLISHING HOUSE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

H. K. Guinzburg '21 and G. S. Oppenheimer '21 have established in New York City a publishing house which is to take over the business of B. W. Huebsch, Inc. The new firm is to be called The Viking Press.

Guinzburg was in the newspaper business for a time after leaving College, and then was with Simon and Shuster, publishers, whom he represented in Europe. Oppenheimer was for some years advertising manager for Alfred A. Knopf.

M. A. Best '25, formerly with B. W. Huebsch, remains with the new house in an editorial capacity, and Parke Cummings '25, has recently joined the staff.

The Viking Press has already published "Two Lives," a narrative poem in sonnets, by W. E. Leonard, A.M. '99, and will soon publish "The Origin of the Next War," by John Bakeless, A.M. '20.
