SMITH HALLS RUNNERS AHEAD IN INTERDORMITORY TRACK

Pratt With Four First Places and O'Neil With Two Are High Scorers

The Smith Halls dormitory trackmen held the advantage which they gained in the first nine events of the interdormitory meet on Wednesday and finished first yesterday afternoon with 48 and one-half points. Gore, which was trailing in third place after the first day, made a sweep of the second places yesterday and finished next to Smith with 23 and one half points while Standish came in last with 24.

C. A. Pratt '28 was the individual star of the meet winning four first places for the Smith team. On Wednesday he took first in the discuss throw and captured the rest of the weight events yesterday by winning the shot put and the javelin and hammer throws. A. H. O'Neil '28 was another high scorer with first places to his credit in both the 220-yard dash and quarter mile run.

The other events were won by L. D. Brayton '28 in the 100-yard dash W. I. Taylor '28 in the mile F. B. Clark Lutmann '28 in the mile F. B. Clark '28 in the pole vault and H. C. Ms comber '28 in the high jump.
