FRESHMEN ASK FOR DINING HALLS IN-SOPHOMORE YEAR

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A group of Freshmen in Gore Hall have started a petitionary campaign agitating the establishment of dining balls wherein they may enjoy as upper-classmen the same facilities now afforded by the Freshman balls. This is a result of the announcement by Dr. Alfred Worcestor '78, Professor of Hygiene, at last week's Hygiene lecture that he would make an effort to provide next year's Sophomores with a dining hall.

Dr. Worcester, when interviewed last night concerning the Freshman petition, stated:

I am glad to hear they have taken action. A student petition will carry great weight as an indication of undergraduate opinion. Anything the student body wants strongly enough, it can obtain."

Approximately 100 Freshmen have already signed which have been posted in Goro Hall.
