The following definite statement in regard to the food situation was made yesterday by A. L. Endicott '94, Comptroller of the University.

The University is now prepared to meet the demand for club dining tables to the extent of providing facilities for 200 upper classmen.

Three large rooms on the second floor of the Harvard Union Building are available for this purpose. There will be attractiveful furnished and equipped as soon as the demand for club tables is signified. Each table will accommodate twelve men and each student will have his regular seat reserved for him for all meals served.

The price of board will be $9 per week for 17 meals, the club tables being closed for dinner Saturday evening and for the three meals on Sunday. The regular Union dining room will be available for the club table members for meals not served at club tables.

Students wishing to form a club table may do so by signing a form provided either at the Union or at the Bursar's Office. Members of club tables must be members of the Union, and they will be expected to sign for the club table privileges for at least a month, and to give a reasonable notice if they wish to resign. Requests for club tables will be granted to groups of 12 men. As the capacity of the rooms is at present limited to 200, the assignment will be made in the order in which the applications are received.
