As a result of two six week competitions which began December 1, A. H. Norton '30 was elected second assistant manager of the University squash team, and C. N. Proudy '31 was elected manager of the Freshman team, it was announced last night by R. H. Sanger '28, manager of the University team. At the same time a new system of playing off the matches of the University, Engineering School, and Graduate Schools tournament was announced.
Norton will become first assistant manager of the squash team next year, and in his Senior year he will assume the duties of managing the University team.
For men entered in the new tournament a number of courts will be reserved between the hours of 5.30 and 7.30 o'clock in the evening on the days which they are scheduled to play their matches. The men will be required to play their matches off on the hour which has ben already arranged for them, and failure to do so will mean default.
