C. C. Willoughby, who has been, since 1915, director of the Peabody Museum of American Archaeology and Ethnology in the University, has presented his resignation which will go into effect next September, when he will become director emeritus. He has been connected with the Peabody Museum since 1899, when he became an assistant curator; for two years he was also an Austin Teaching Fellow in American Archaeology and Ethnology. From 1913 to 1915 he was assistant director of the Museum.
