The Philip Washburn Prize of $150 "for the best thesis of sufficient merit, on an historical subject presented by a successful candidate for the degree of A. B. with Honors in the Division of History, Government, and Economics, whose main work is in History" was awarded to Robert Stolz Garson '28 of Cleverland, Ohio, for his thesis on "The Diplomatic Aspects of the Afghan Crisis of 1885" it has been announced.
