WRESTLERS HOLD TECH GRAPPLERS HELPLESS

LACK OF CONTESTANTS CURTAILS FRESHMAN BOUTS

Both the University and Freshman wrestling teams conquered their opponents from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, last night in Hemenway Gymnasium. In both meets the Technology matmen were only able to win one match, the University wrestlers winning by a score of 25 1-2 to 1 1-2, and the first-year grapplers downing the Technology Freshmen, 25 to 3.

Only three matches were contested in the Freshman meet, the last four matches being won by default. Three of the four defaulted matches were won by the Freshman matmen, but both men defaulted in the Unlimited class.

The University summary follows:

115-pound class--L. J. Chibas '28 defeated Cander (M. I. T.), decision.

125-pound class--J. H. Burns '29 drew with Cullen (M. I. T.), in six minutes overtime.

135-pound class--Joseph Lifrak '29 defeated Gentile (M. I. T.), decision.

145-pound class--C. C. Corson '28 defeated Der Marderosian (M. I. T.), decision.

158-pound class--J. F. Solano '30 defeated Cooper (M. I. T.), fall in 4 minutes, 45 seconds.

175-pound class--Nathaniel Warner '30 defeated Stone (M. I. T.), fall in 9 minutes, 55 seconds.

Unlimited class--T. D. Howe '28 defeated Pitbladdo (M. I. T.), fall in 4 minutes, 23 seconds.

The Freshman summary follows:

115-pound class--Kiyochi Yamaguchi '31 defeated Chibas (M. I. T.), fall in 6 minutes, 8 seconds.

125-pound class--M. S. Pollard '31 defeated Cole (M. I. T.), fall in 5 minutes, 48 seconds.

135-pound class--Basinger (M. I. T.), defeated E. T. Tryon '31, decision.
