The University fencers defeated the J. Sanford Saltus Club of New York City, in a closely contested series of matches. Saturday, by a score of 7 to 6. Levis, representing the Saltus Club in both the foils and the epee, lost only one match of five, being defeated only in the epee by D. L. Modell, '30. In the foils, the Saltus Club proved superior, amassing five points to Harvard's four. The University swordsmen reversed the count, taking the epee, 3 to 1.

Foils: Dow (S. C.) defeated M. R. Berliner '28, 5-4; D. I. Modell '30 defeated Dow (S.C.), 5-3; C. C. B. Hollister '29 defeated Dow (S. C.), 5-4; Levis (S. C.) defeated Berliner, 5-3; Levis (S. C.) defeated Modell, 5-1; Levis (S. C.) defeated Hollister, 5-4; Berliner defeated Vogt (S. C.), 5-4; Vogt (S. C.) defeated Modell, 5-4; Hollister defeated Vogt (S. C.), 5-2.
Epee: Berliner defeated Dow (S. C.), 1-0; Levis (S. C.) defeated Berliner, 1-0; Modell defeated Dow (S. C.), 1-0; Modell defeated Levis (S. C.), 1-0.
