Sophomore Picked to Captain Next Year's Twelve -- Twenty-Two Awarded Minor Letters

Harry Matthew Hartnett '30, of Malone, N. Y., was elected captain of next year's Crimson lacrosse forces at a meeting held in Notman's Studio yesterday afternoon, where the team gathered for its picture. Hartnett prepared for Harvard at Franklin Academy.

This year, his first on the University lacrosse squad, he has played in every game and has displayed a good brand of stickmanship at the positions of point, coverpoint, and first defense which he has filled at various times during the fourteen contests of the season.

Twenty-two men have been awarded minor "H's" for their work on the lacrosse squad this spring. These awards, subject to the approval of the H. A. A., are as follows:

J. Wallace '28, Manager J. O. Wilson '28.

The Morgan Lacrosse Cup, awarded annually to the best all-around players, has been awarded to John Caspar Dreier '28, of Brooklyn, N. Y.
