A radical change in the Harvard Interscholastic games which will make the affair one of the largest gatherings of schoolboy athletes in the country is to be undertaken this spring according to an announcement given out by the Athletic Association yesterday.

The Interscholastics this year will include the group formerly participating in the Massachusetts State High School Meet, in addition to the preparatory and high school classes in the old Interscholastics. By this combination, it is estimated that between 700 and 1000 schoolboys will be in competition in the Stadium meet on May 11.

The groups participating in the old Interscholastics will form Class A under the new system, while the participants in the old State Meet will make up Class B and C of the new Interscholastics. Medals will be awarded to the first five men in each event, and the winning school in each event will receive a bronze plaque.
