Tomorrow evening at 7 o'clock in the Varsity Club a meeting of all candidates for the University soccer squad will inaugurate annual spring practice, it was announced yesterday by J. F. Carr '28. Freshman coach, who will handle the work out this spring.
Active practice will start immediately after the vacation and is to last for three weeks. Toward the end of this period, the squad will be divided into two groups and several full-time scrimmages area to be held. It is possible that a game will be arranged with one of the amateur teams that play in the vicinity of Boston
The purpose of the spring session, according to Coach Carr, is to get in the ground-work for next fall, when there will be little time for dwelling on the fundamentals of the game.
