Playing on a course rendered doubly difficult by recent rains the Crimson golf team rolled up a total of 39 points in the first half of the telegraphic match with the University of Oregon yesterday.
Because of the wide divergency in time between Oregon and Massachusetts, the results of the opponent's play had not been received at a late hour last night.
In a system of scoring by which a par receives one, a birdie two, and an eagle three: Finlay got 11 points, Aronld 9 points, Murphy 10 points and Baldwin 9 points for the eighteen holes. The second eighteen will be played today.
