SECOND NINE OVERCOMES ELIS' EARLY LEAD, LOSES IN NINTH

La Rue Hurls Well. Ketchum Leads Attack, Sims Stars Behind Bat

The Harvard second baseball team was nosed out by the Yale substitutes in the ninth inning of Saturday's encounter on Soldiers Field, the score being 3 to 2. It was the last game of the year for both nines.

The Crimson fought an uphill fight, overcoming the Blue's early two-run lead by tallying once in the fifth and once again in the sixth, only to have their efforts crowned with failure in the fatal ninth.
