DARTMOUTH GAME DANCE PATRONESSES ARE NAMED

Professors' Wives to Receive on Eve of Indian Invasion--Ushers Names Also Announced

For the first time patronesses for the annual Harvard-Dartmouth Football Dance, held in the Hotel Statler on the evening before the game, have been chosen this year from wives of professors of the University. Among those who will serve as patronesses for the third annual dance, held this year on October 24, are Mrs. Bliss Perry, Mrs. Edward Burlingame Hill, Mrs. K. B. Murdock, Mrs. Frederick G. White, Mrs. Robert S. Billyer, Mrs. James P. Baxter, Mrs. A. N. Holcombe, Mrs. Walter Bradford Cannon, Mrs. James Ford, Mrs. E. A. Whitney, Mrs. G. H. Edgell, Mrs. O. D. Kellogg.

Fifteen Ushers

Fifteen undergraduates were named last night as ushers for the occasion. They are R. C. Aldrich '31, B. K. Bachrach '33, Paul Brooks '31, R. N. Clark Jr. '32, Eustis Dearborn '32, S. P. Duggan Jr. '31, O. E. Fuerbringer '32, J. W. Hallowell '31, N. P. Hallowell Jr. '32, F. S. Holmes '31, Vernon Munroe Jr. '31, Geoffrey Parsons Jr. '31, Robert Saltonstall Jr. '33, R. L. Scott '31, and P. M. Sweezy '31.

A change is seen this year also in the attraction offered Harvard and Dartmouth undergraduates in the orchestras. For the first time a nationally known orchestra will supply part of the music. Continuous music will be played throughout the evening by McKinney's Cotton Pickers, Detroit colored orchestra, and Bert Lowe.

Names of guests of honor for this year's dance were not given out last night. That announcement is expected before the end of the week.
