FOOTBALL COACHES FAVOR SCOUTING BY SLOW MOVIES

Scouting by slow moving pictures has been advocated by Head Coach Arnold Horween of Harvard and Head Coach Jackson Cannell of Dartmouth. Horween and Cannell talked over the matter of taking slow movies of the teams in action and then sending them to the other colleges early this fall. They agreed that this would be less expensive than the sending of scouts to watch the different teams.

The Harvard Athletic Association has made no plans for the taking of such pictures this year. Slow movies of games have been made, but they are only for the use of the Harvard squad.
