ARMY'S POWERFUL ELEVEN FAVORED TO BEAT HARVARD

Moushegian and Hageman will Open in Game--Cadets are in Good Condition for Contest

West Point, N. Y., Oct. 15--Saturday will find the Army eleven well prepared for its clash with Harvard, Frentzell and MacWilliam are the only members of the squad who will be kept out of the game by injuries. After having spent considerable time this week in perfecting a defense against the Harvard plays, the cadets devoted today's practice session to developing their offensive.

Army's starting lineup is as follows: King, l.e.; Price, l.t.; Summerfelt, l.g.; Lazar, c.; Trice, r.g.; Suarez, r.t.; Sheridan, r.e.; Elliott, q.b.; Strecker, l.h.b.; Sebastian, r.h.b.; Kilday, f.b.

One of the most powerful elevens in the East will oppose the Crimson team tomorrow afternoon in the Michie stadium. Not only is the West Point aggregation unusually strong, but it is far more experienced than the visiting team.

Although the Cadets are entering the stadium ignorant of their opponents' real offense, the Harvard squad will be considerably hindered by the very newness of its own tactics, by its lack of experience in Coach Casey's system of attack.

Harvard opens its first big game of the year eager to avenge the record of two defeats and one tie in its last three contests with the West Pointers. Coach Casey is starting his two light ends, so far as is known at present, although Record is again fit. Crickard will probably begin in the backfield, otherwise the lineup is the regular one. On the whole it is but reasonable that Coach Sasse's men should again be favored over their Crimson rival.

The Harvard lineup will be:

Moushegian, l.e.; Hardy, l.t.; Esterly, l.g.; Hallowell, c.; Myerson, r.g.; Kopans, r.t.; Hageman, r.e.; Wood, q.b.; Crickard, Mays, l.h.b.; Schereschewsky, r.h.b.; White, f.b.
