DRAMA SCHOOL PRESENTS "THE OTHER ONE" TONIGHT

A cast composed chiefly of undergraduates in Harvard and Radcliffe will take part at 8.45 o'clock this evening at the Rogers Building in the first performance of "The Other One," fall production of the Cambridge School of the Drama. In accordance with the established policy of the School, the play is both written and acted by students and no charge is made for admission. Anyone wishing to attend either tonight's performances or one of the following ones may obtain tickets at the Rogers Building.

Written by Miss Dorothy Abbott, author of "For Someone Else", which was presented at the School last spring, "The Other One" is a study of a dual personality. The Harvard men who will have parts in it are O. M. Nichols '32, R. L. C. Rein'l '34, and Eric Walz '33.

The third act of the play contains a number of dream episodes, for which the unusual arrangement of the stage in the Rogers Building is admirably adapted. In place of the conventional structure, there is a forestage with three alcoves, similar to the stage constructed in New York for "Five Star Final." It was designed by A. R. Lovejoy and Arthur Segal of the School and as a permanent arrangement is unique in this country. For the first two acts the central alcove alone will be used but the last act, requiring quick changes of scenery, will shift rapidly from one to another.
