BROOKS HOUSE TO AID IN GRENFELL MISSION WORK

A vote to effect a connection between the Missions Committee of the Phillips Brooks House and the Grenfell Mission in Labrador was passed last night by the Cabinet of Brooks House.

The minute was adopted with the understanding that an agreement be reached with Sir Wilfred Grenfell whereby Brooks House will undertake the provision of funds in return for the privilege of selecting four Harvard men who will go a field with the Mission. No definite sum was mentioned but it is probable that the funds now applied to the support of a representative at Robert College. Constantinople, will be diverted to aid the social service work of the Grenfell enterprise.

The Grenfell organization endeavors to better the living conditions of the peoples situated along the coast of Labrador, and employs volunteer and paid workers in many fields of service.

The statement given out by officials of the Brooks House Association explained that affiliation with the Grenfell group offers an opportunity for service to a worthy cause in which nearly all departments of Brooks House can cooperate, especially the Social Service, Medical and Dental School, and Missious Committees.
