In a hotly-contested overtime period the 1934 stickmen went down to a 5 to 3 defeat at the hands of the Springfield Freshmen yesterday afternoon on the Business School Field.

At the end of the first half Springfield was on the short end of a 2 to 1 score, but rallied in the second, scoring twice of Harvard's lone tally, tying the score.

In the overtime Springfield scored twice, while the first year men, because of poor marksmanship, failed to force the nets.
