LIVE UPDATES: Pro-Palestine Protesters Begin Encampment in Harvard Yard
Forced into the Cage during yesterday afternoon's heavy rainstorm, the Varsity squad worked out until 5 o'clock, but without Coach Casey, who went down to New York to attend a dinner at the Harvard Club last evening.
After the regular preliminary kicking practice, the first three teams ran through an intensive dummy scrimmage against Dartmouth plays put on by the Jayvees, and followed that up with a long drill on forward pass defense.
Bartol took Hageman's place at end, since the latter was in street clothes, and Whitney turned out in a white shirt. Grady was excused from practice, but otherwise the whole squad went through the afternoon drilling. Crane seems definitely settled in the first team right guard position now.
With Coach Jack Cannell of Dartmouth announcing that he expects to have practically his whole squad in shape for next Saturday, the Crimson players will probably be worked pretty hard during the remainder of the week, particularly on pass defense. Healey will probably remain at the second team guard post to which he was raised two days ago, and Rogers will likewise probably keep the tackle position on the B team to which he was shifted in order to make room for Healey.
The lineups:
Team A--Nazro, l.e.; Hardy, l.t.; Esterly, l.g.; Hallowell, c.; Crane, r.g.; Bancroft, r.t.; Bartol, r.e.; Wells, q.; Crickard, l.h.; Nevin, r.h.; Dean, f.b.
Team B--Wolcott, l.e.; Rogers, l.t.; Healey, l.g.; Casey, c.; Gundlach, r.g.; Francisco, r.t.; Lowe, r.c.; Peter, q.; Pescosolido, l.h.b.; Gleason, r.h.b.; Waters, f.b.
Team C--Cassedy, l.e.; Barrows, l.t.; Cullen, l.g.; Casale, c.; Schumann, r.g.; Kidder, r.t.; Werner, r.e.; Leonard, q.; Sherman, Locke, l.h.b.; Barrett, Hurlbut, r.h.b.; Littlefield, f.b.
