HARVARD RIFLE CLUB HOLDS FIRST MEETING OF SEASON

Officials Have Over 8000 Rounds of Ammunition on Hand

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Over 50 men turned out for the opening meeting of the Harvard University Rifle Club yesterday evening in Winthrop House.

Officials of the club stated that they had over 8000 rounds of ammunition on hand, both .30 and .22 calibre. Shooting will start today when members of the Executive Committee will take new men out to the Walnut Hill range in Woburn.

The Rifle Club hopes this year to organize both a .22 and a pistol team in addition to the already existing .30 calibre team. Officials announced that no men would be allowed to shoot until they had paid their dues. Daily trips will be made this autumn.

Extensive facilities are available at the Walnut Hill Bange for .30, .22, and pistol shooting.
