At a late hour yesterday morning, two members of Eliot House, were forced to vacate their suite of rooms by a deluge of water which effectively flooded their study to a depth of six inches. Rugs, furniture, tobacco, shoes, valuable sketches, and other furnishings were extensively soaked. The rooms below were also reported affected.
