Playing at Left Inside Philadelphia Boy Made Ten Goals This Year
George Frederick Stork '35, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was chosen captain of the 1934 Varsity soccer team yesterday. Stork played left inside on the team this year as well as last. He scored ten of the 18 goals made by the Crimson during the season just finished.
Stork prepared at Penn Charter School, where he was a member of the soccer eleven. In his Freshman year at Harvard he also played in the left inside position. He has been suggested by Boston sports writers as a candidate for forward on the 1933 All-American soccer outfit.
